De L'Esprie Sculpture

Dear Cheryl,

This note is just to tell you that my prayers and thoughts are with you, Cheryl.

I also want you to know that I am permanently engraving Jordan's name in the folds near the heart of the female angel of this monument. It will be installed in mid-march in the Fairfax district.

Please know if you need anything, anything or just need to talk, call day or night.

With Love and Fondness,
De L'Esprie

I received this note with the picture of the monument I have shared with you within hours of Jordan's accident.  De L'Esprie is the artist who created the landmark fountain at the Promenade in Westlake Village.  I have included her note and the picture she sent to me of the monument of the to archangels, which she designed and created for the new outdoor mall in the Fairfax District next to the famous Flea Market.  It sits high upon a 30-foot pedestal with a dedication to De L'Esprie.  She also placed Jordan's initials in the folds of the cloak of the male archangel.

Words could never express how much I appreciated this miraculous gesture.  I knew from the first time I met De L'Esprie that she was a beautiful and gifted lady with a heart and hands touched by angels.  My only regret is not having had the time to give her the hug she deserves.

God Bless you with the peace and comfort you have brought to me and to all of the members of Jordan's family.  Knowing his memory lives on as a part of your glorious work and has been placed so close to heaven is a blessing we will always cherish.
